The references cited are exceptionally outdated. For example,Chapter 88: one reference on prescribing patterns is from 1988. Of the 20 references, 17 are from 1990's or earlier. Most of the other chapters appear to be similar in continuing to use old references with very few updates. It is unfortunate that The Am Acad of Pain Management recommends this book as the text book for their diplomate program.
It is great, practical and informative, according to pain management guidelines!Great condition even though it was used. Worth the money!
