I am not proficient AT ALL when it comes to piano but I found this book to be somewhat straightforward and more of an *easy* play. Even with my limited knowledge of the instrument, Jim Brickman's musica can make you sound like you know what you're doing. He has chords written above the lines too so if you're a left handed chord player (like me) you can get by!
This book is exactly what Jim Brickman plays on the CD (minus the cello and saxophone parts). If you are looking to play the songs on the Picture This album, this is the book to get!
I've loved Jim's music for years and this sheet music does a really good job of letting me play just like the CD.

When it come to Jim Brickman this is the pinnacle of his achievements! By far the best book of his yet with excellent piano pieces espescially Valentine, Secret Love, and the bonus: "Hero's Dream."His style of composing is very fluid, simple and yet challenging in this book. A treat for any pianist who is looking for new sounds to lose themself in.
Beautiful music. Not my first Jim Brickman CD. I REALLY enjoy his music.
These songs sound exactly like they do on his cd. I they are medium difficult, probably grade 4.
